The plugin, starter templates and setup guidance are free. Your AI platform, subscriptions and any selected third-party API usage may have their own costs.

Layer 1: Context OS

Build a reusable picture of your business, your role, your priorities and your current situation. The plugin guides you through a conversation or works from information you provide, then helps organise it into context files in your own workspace.

Review the facts, correct anything missing, and check that your AI can answer a real business question with that context.

Layer 2: Data OS

Connect the business data sources you choose, collect their numbers in a local SQLite database, and turn them into a metrics summary your AI can use. The setup covers source checks, refreshing data and configuring a local collection schedule.

You choose what to connect and verify the results against your source dashboards. The database is local, but your AI platform and selected APIs may process information outside your device.

How to get started

  1. Open the plugin listing and install Lumis AIOS Setup in your supported AI platform.
  2. Ask it to help you set up Context OS and Data OS. Tell it whether you are starting fresh or resuming, and whether you use Mac, Windows or Linux.
  3. Follow the guided setup in a workspace you choose. Review your business context before connecting your selected data sources.

The included starter kit uses Claude Code by default. If you use Codex, ask the plugin to adapt the workspace instructions. You need access to your chosen AI tool and permission to use any data sources you connect.
